Chagos is an uninhabited archipelago in the Indian Ocean. The US Navy uses Diego Garcia, about 70 miles SW as a major
military base. Consequently, they had the British relocate all the original people that lived there to Mauritius for “security” reasons. Check out the August Updates for more info while Alex pens the Chagos journal.
